Right now if someone wants to view an image that has been tweeted, they have to click on that tweet to view the image. However according to some reports, Twitter might be testing in-stream photo previews on twitter.com. What this means is that basically small previews of the tweeted image will be attached with the tweet itself, making it easier for the user to decide whether or not they want to open the tweet to view the full image. TheNextWeb reports that several users have noticed automatic in-stream photo previews, but this feature is said to be limited currently to a user's own tweets.
