LTE-enabled Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom launches across Europe

Samsung announced the Galaxy S4 Zoom back in June and unleashed its 3G version worldwide in July. It's just now though Samsung is releasing the LTE-capable version of the S4 Zoom. The LTE Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom is completely identical with the already available version but as you probably guessed adds support for 4G networks.

Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 Review

Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 Review

Samsung didn't just release a 10.1-inch version of its Galaxy Tab 3 as they released their latest tablet in an 8.0 and 7.0 version. Along with the 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab 3 we were lent for our review, Samsung also supplied us with the 8-inch version. Both tablets have many similarities, but ultimately, we wanted to treat both products as their own version considering how many people would be looking at either Galaxy Tab 3 to potentially purchase. One of the most obvious differences between the 10.1-inch and 8.0-inch variants are its size.

HTC shows off its Mini+ and Fetch Bluetooth accessories (hands-on)

If you're unaware, the Mini+ is, basically, a Bluetooth feature phone that you can use to save you using your smartphone while out and about. Connecting over BT 2.1+EDR, the unit is light to the point of being insubstantial (it weighs about as much as two packs of gum) and you're not likely to notice the weight of it in your pocket. In the business world, the device also doubles as a presentation remote and even comes with a laser pointer, so you can both show your colleagues who's boss and annoy the cat when you get home.

Microsoft Reassures They Will Not Bring Back Controversial Xbox One DRM Policies

When Microsoft first unveiled the Xbox One to eager gamers around the world, the excitement quickly fizzled and took a backseat to Microsoft's then-controversial DRM policies. Microsoft then did a 180 and backtracked on those policies to appease gamers, and while for the most part a lot of gamers seem to be satisfied with Microsoft's decision, there are still gamers out there who are paranoid that Microsoft could bring those policies back. Some assert that there is nothing stopping Microsoft from bringing those policies back once the console has been bought and released to gamers everywhere.

The safest driving cities in America listed for 2013

We all like to claim we know where the worst drivers in the US hog the road, but for the last nine years, Allstate has released a study telling us exactly where we can go to find the best and worst drivers in the country. After compiling crash data in America's largest cities (with more than 50,000 residents), this finding shows that for the third time in four years, Fort Collins, CO tops the list for safest roadways. Fort Collins drivers go almost 14 years between car accidents – an accident rate that is far better than the national average of about 10 years.

Sega iPad Game Relies On Body As Your Controller

Sega iPad Game Relies On Body As Your Controller

When the Nintendo Wii was first released to the masses, many people laughed at what they called "waggle controls", and I do admit that it was rather weird at that point in time to play with a nunchuk and a Wiimote. However, once you have gotten the hang of it, it all becomes really natural, and you could also see Sony backtracking and throwing in a half-hearted motion control system into their Sixaxis controllers. Microsoft, however, decided to take a very different route by turning your entire body into the controller itself, calling this the Kinect system that experienced various degrees of success.

How GM's grueling 24-hour test gets the kinks out of its performance cars

One of the biggest challenges automakers face when designing a high-performance car is making sure that it is both fast and reliable. For General Motors, any car that might be taken to the track by its owner – like the Corvette, Camaro Z/28 (shown above) and the Cadillac CTS-V, for example – undergoes a rigorous and strenuous 24-hour test by engineers at the Milford Proving Grounds, as pointed out by Car and Driver. We've posted on this topic in the past – on a video showing the Camaro ZL1 being brutalized, for instance – but this article gives a more in-depth look at what actually happens behind the scenes.

With the Belgian Formula One Grand Prix happening this weekend, Shell reminded a few guests what the Spa-Francorchamps track and Belgian countryside were like in 1955. That year the petroleum company made a 30-minute movie about the grand prix - this is back when the track was called the Francorchamps National Circuit, near the town of Spa, and a list of its important corners didn't include a mention of Eau Rouge - where it was doing the same thing it still does today: working on fuels and lubricants via its technical partnership with Ferrari.

Aston Martin DBC Concept would be a gorgeous new direction for the brand

The world may never see a mid-engine Aston Martin. Never, ever. Why. Because grand touring, which is and has always been what Aston Martin is about, goes about as well with a mid-engined layout as whiskey goes with wasabi. Why do you think Ferrari and Bentley, also notable GT manufacturers, keep their big, comfortable and fast vehicles with the engine in front?

That said, if Aston were to suddenly decide that it wanted a piece of the Ferrari 458 Italia or McLaren MP4-12C, we sincerely hope the resulting car would look at least half as good as this concept car, designed by Samir Sadikhov.

Court puts kibosh on apartheid lawsuit against Ford, Daimler

Ford and Daimler have scored a major victory in a long-running lawsuit filed in US federal court by unnamed South African nationals. The suit alleges that both manufacturers and their subsidiaries sold their vehicles to the South African military, despite knowing that they'd be involved in violently putting down anti-apartheid protesters. According to Reuters, South African plaintiffs filed the case under the 223-year-old Alien Torts Statute, a law which allows foreign nationals to file charges in US courts for perceived breaches of what was originally international law, but now more closely relates to violations of human rights.

Originally launching with Android 4.1.2, we've since seen the device receive updates to Android 4.2.2 in Asia and European markets, but as so often is the case — it seems US One owners are lagging far behind. While this isn't entirely HTC's doing, it seems the company is now focused on delivering Android 4.3 to the HTC One US variants, leap frogging over Android 4.2.2 entirely. Can't say we saw that one coming.

My first iPhone case was the Hornettek Vader iPhone 4 case (see related posts for a link to my review), and I loved it. Its style and lightweight aluminum frame made my phone look great. One of the major flaws with it, however, was that I had to take the case off  to use my non-OEM chargers, my L-shaped headphones, or to dock it. Some time has passed since then, and when I saw the Signature Minimalist and Classic cases by Truffol, I really wanted to try one of them with my iPhone 5 due to their unique design that makes them easy to assemble.
