2014 Acura MDX priced from $42,290*

The fully redesigned 2014 MDX goes on sale in July, and Acura has now confirmed that its largest crossover will be priced at $42,290 (*plus $895 for destination). Unlike previous MDX models, Acura will offer the 2014 model with both front- and all-wheel drive (the automaker's fantastic Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive, at that), and this base price is for the standard, two-wheel-drive MDX model. At the base level, this new pricing represents a $990 decrease over the outgoing, AWD-only 2013 model.

The aluminum casing of the HTC One is an amazing feat of engineering, but if the latest rumors are true, HTC may looking ot change things up later this year with a switch of Liquidmetal. According to DigiTimes, HTC will be working with chassis maker Jabon International to develop a Liquidmetal casing in the second half of the year. While the amorphous metal alloy conjures up images of T-1000 from Terminator 2, the alloy is does not present itself in liquid form at room temperature. Unlike traditional crystalline metals, Liquidmetal can be molded like plastics while double the strength of some titanium alloys.

According to supply chain sources, Asus and Acer both are planning new Chromebooks that will be released later this year.

The console will be on sale November 30 and it comes with a new controller.

Mercedes-Benz is working on a system that may help emergency workers quickly and safely rescue trapped occupants in wrecked vehicles. The system pairs rescue sheets that show firefighters, police and paramedics information on exactly how and where to use rescue sheers to extract trapped passengers, the location of major hydraulic lines, air bags and electrical cables as well as other important vehicle data with QR codes. Using two stickers with the codes prominently displayed, rescue workers can scan the code and instantly pull up the necessary information quickly with an internet connection.

Having grown up in Michigan, I spent the entirety of my early adult life riding whatever powersport machine I could get my hands on, be it snowmobile, dirt bike, four-wheeler or personal watercraft. Pretty much, if it has an engine, I've ridden it. On Memorial Day weekends ­– the unofficial start of summer – I would usually split my time between tearing up two-tracks on dirt bikes and jumping waves on a jet ski. Now, Michigan-based Gibbs Sports has come up with an innovative amphibious vehicle that my 18-year-old self is glad never existed. It's called the Gibbs Quadski.
