HTC Desire 200 priced at $167 (EUR 124) in Taiwan. HTC gets serious about low end smartphones too

We know HTC as primarily high-end and mid-range device maker. They have repeatedly stated the lack of interest in the cheapest smart device category, and since the not so successful Wildfire series, never really ventured into the sub $200 smartphones. But things are now changing. With HTC's confidence boosted by the success of One flagship, they are bringing the breakthrough design to every price and size tier this year. We already know about 5.9" T6 for the phablet aficionados, and 4.3" HTC One Mini to tackle the upper mid-tier size conscious consumer.
