Fujitsu To Recycle Used CDs, DVDs Into Laptops

With the rise of downloadable music and movies, the popularity of CDs and DVDs has been dwindling pretty quick. And what is even worse than a bunch of discs still unsold in record store shelves. Your used shiny plastic discs collecting dust in your abode as you listen music through your fancy iPod and watch movies by streaming on Netflix. Fujitsu plans to bring those outdated media formats to good use. The company adapts a recycling program that uses CDs and DVDs into new notebooks, starting with the Lifebook P772/E enterprise laptop, with more models coming soon.
