Nokia's Lumia 1020 41MP WP8 handset officially announced, AT&T will launch it on July 26 for $299.99

Nokia has officially unveiled the brand new Lumia 1020 Windows Phone 8 handset - previously known as Eos. Nokia CEO Stephen Elop himself has showcased the 1020 on stage. As expected, the new smartphone comes with a 41MP PureView camera that features Xenon flash, Zeiss wide-angle optics (there are a total of six lenses), and optical image stabilization (for both photos and video).
Naturally, this new 41MP camera uses the same oversampling technique introduced by Nokia last year with the Symbian-based PureView 808 smartphone.
