HTC revenues dropped 60 percent last month

HTC saw its monthly sales dropping roughly 60 percent last month. Announcing its unaudited consolidated revenue for the month of October, the Taiwanese consumer electronics company said that it had a total revenue of NT$17.2 billion or $589 million based on today's exchange rate. Although the amount isn't so bad, at least from our own point of view, it's important to note that HTC's overall revenue last year for the month of October was NT$44,114 million or $NT 44 billion – a $1.5 billion value. If you'll do the math, that's a whopping 60 percent drop.
