Budget Gemini JoyTAB hits Argos – Android 4.0 for £149

Here's something rather momentous. The new wave of Chinese super-budget Android tablets have been available for some time through smaller, indie retailers, but now there's one on the high street for Mr Average-Man to impulse buy on a Saturday. Argos is selling the Gemini JoyTAB 8″ Android tablet for £149.99 for which you get a capacitive screen running at a slightly disappointing 800×600 resolution, 512MB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage space.
Rather boring case, but still. An Android 4.0 tablet for £150 on your nearest retail estate. That's pretty big news. Check it out over at Argos.
