Although it was supposed to be released in India at the end of 2011, the Huawei MediaPad tablet has only now become available there. Both LetsBuy and Adexmart are selling the MediPad for 28,000 INR (about $559) - which is a bit more expensive than you'd expect, since other tablets (like the original Motorola Xoom) are currently cheaper in India. The new Huawei tablet features a 7 inch display with 1280 x 800 pixels, HSPA, Wi-Fi, SRS sound enhancement, HDMI, 5MP rear camera, 1.3 front-facing camera, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, and a 4100 mAh battery.
At this very moment, the Huawei MediaPad runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb.
