Actor Paul Walker, 40, died Saturday afternoon in a car crash that occurred in Santa Clarita, CA, north of Los Angeles. The death has been confirmed on Walker's own Facebook page with the following message. It is with a truly heavy heart that we must confirm that Paul Walker passed away today in a tragic car accident while attending a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide. He was a passenger in a friend's car, in which both lost their lives. We appreciate your patience as we too are stunned and saddened beyond belief by this news. Thank you for keeping his family and friends in your prayers during this very difficult time.

Google Confirms RAW And Native Burst Mode Support For Android

It was reported last week that Google might be working on a new Android camera API that supports RAW image output. Google has now officially commented on the matter. Speaking with CNET, Google spokeswoman Gina Scigliano said that support for RAW and native burst mode is present right now in “Android's latest camera HAL (hardware abstraction layer) and framework supports raw and burst-mode photography.” This basically means that support for these features is already built deep into the Android OS, however the company is yet to expose a developer API so that programmers can tap into the features through their own software.

Recently we reported that apparently due to shortages in supply, the Nokia Lumia 1520 could have been delayed for AT&T customers and those who ordered from Microsoft's online store as well. Now if you were thinking that it might be a better, if not clever, idea to head on over to your local AT&T store to pick up the handset in person, you'd be out of luck too. According to the folks at WPCentral who first reported the original low supply, they claim to have called around several AT&T outlets and found out that they were low on stock too. LGÂ’s Odin SoC is rumored to have a quad-core and octa-core version

A report in Korean media made the rounds, shedding light on the development of LGÂ's previously rumored, in-house developed chipset dubbed Odin. The SoC will reportedly come in two different versions – one with quad-core CPU, and another with an octa-core setup. The quad-core version of the chipset will allegedly pack an ARM Mali-T604 GPU. The octa-core one on the other hand, is said to sport ARMÂ's latest Mali-T760 GPU.

The quad-core configuration of the Odin chipset will reportedly find home in LGÂ's lineup of smart TVÂ's, while the octa-core setup will be featured in mobile devices.
