Windows Phone 8 GDR3 Update Reportedly Being Tested

While Microsoft's Windows Phone GDR2 update has yet to fully roll out to all Windows Phone devices, it seems that according to The Verge's Tom Warren, Microsoft is already testing their Windows Phone 8 GDR3 update. For those wondering what's the difference, the GDR2 update basically brings about some improvements and few features, but with the GDR3 update, it is expected to bring about new hardware support in the form of 1080p Full HD displays along with quad-core processors. With the GDR3 update, Microsoft's Windows Phone offerings should be able to stay on par with Android's hardware, at least on paper.
