A trio of new Verizon phones have been made available as of this morning. The first, and obviously most highly anticipated, is the carrier's version of the HTC One. Although the phone is about 4 months later than the rest, the HTC One remains one of the best smartphones that can be had today. It's a 4.7-inch 1080p device with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, HTC BoomSound speakers, HTC's UltraPixel camera and more.

HTC One to skip Android 4.2.2 in the US, will receive Android 4.3 by Sept (Canada and Droid DNA as well)

With the HTC One being HTC's premier flagship device, there's no questions smartphone maker is doing their best to not only promote the device, but support the device with timely firmware updates. Originally launching with Android 4.1.2, we've since seen the device receive updates to Android 4.2.2 in Asia and European markets, but as so often is the case — it seems US One owners are lagging far behind. While this isn't entirely HTC's doing, it seems the company is now focused on delivering Android 4.3 to the HTC One US variants, leap frogging over Android 4.2.2 entirely. Can't say we saw that one coming.

To get the new S-Class to run to sixty in 3.9 seconds, Benz's performance studio fitted the S63 with a 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 that sends 577 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque to all four wheels. Google Maps and Waze begin sharing features

Wondering what Google would be doing with Waze after they bought the crowd-sourced mapping service. The web technology company has just announced that Google Maps users will now be getting real-time incident reporting powered by the swift and informative community surrounding Waze. Reports on construction, road closures, accidents and more will be coming to those with Google Maps in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, France, Germany, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Switzerland, United Kingdom and the United States.

Truffol Signature Minimalist and Classic cases for the iPhone 5 review

My first iPhone case was the Hornettek Vader iPhone 4 case (see related posts for a link to my review), and I loved it. Its style and lightweight aluminum frame made my phone look great. One of the major flaws with it, however, was that I had to take the case off  to use my non-OEM chargers, my L-shaped headphones, or to dock it. Some time has passed since then, and when I saw the Signature Minimalist and Classic cases by Truffol, I really wanted to try one of them with my iPhone 5 due to their unique design that makes them easy to assemble.
