HTC One S Won't Get Any More Android Updates

HTC has officially announced today in a statement to the press that its One S smartphone will not be receiving any more Android updates, which means that the device will stick to Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean. The smartphone came out last year as part of the One lineup. No Sense updates will be rolled out as well for this smartphone, it is going to retain HTC Sense version 4+. The company is yet to confirm if last year's One X and One X+ smartphones will receive Android 4.2 update. Recent rumors indicate that these devices will indeed be getting the update, but until and unless HTC makes an official confirmation, one can't be too sure.
