Not long ago, Virgin Mobile USA started taking pre-orders for the LG Optimus Elite, saying the handset would be out on May 15. And today the smartphone is indeed available. Sold by Virgin for $149.99 off-contract, the LG Optimus Elite isn't among the greatest smartphones out there - and, at this price, it couldn't have been anyway.
