Yesterday, Apple has proudly announced its third-generation iPad, which stupidly doesn't have a proper name, so we'll just call it the new iPad. Or simply the iPad - but that way you could mistake it for the first-generation iPad. Well, whatever. The new iPad runs iOS 5.1, and brings lots of enhancements over the previous model (iPad 2), including a Retina Display with 2048 x 1536 pixels, A5X dual-core chip with quad-core graphics, 4G LTE connectivity, and a 5MP iSight camera.
Even so, Samsung - known for legally battling with Apple over patents for quite a while now - thinks its brand new Galaxy Note 10.1 is better than the new iPad.
