After select iOS 5 users got a chance to install Apple's 5.0.1 update a few days early, Apple has issued the software update to the rest of us. The small software update addresses battery bugs, problems with Documents in the Cloud, and multitasking gestures for the first-generation iPad, and improves voice recognition for Aussie iDevice users. Wired readers who got the update early provided an overall positive response to the update, saying that it definitely fixed previous battery-related woes.
After iOS 5 debuted, a growing number of users complained of battery issues and a few other bugs.
