Amazon Kindle Paperwhite Firmware 5.3.3 released

Amazon today released a new firmware for their Kindle Paperwhite.  Firmware 5.3.3 can either be downloaded and manually installed or you can wait for it to come over the air if you have your Wi-fi enabled on your Paperwhite.  There's actually no change log on the web and it's a full OS update (rather than an upgrade or incremental) so be prepared to download around 164MB. It's coming down as I type and if there are any issues with it I'll report back.

2013 Acura ILX 2.4

Going Mainstream Has Its Privileges. Acura's experiment with niche models has failed. Competing in the luxury car business by filling white space with product just didn't work for the Japanese automaker. In place of slow-selling models like its ZDX and quirky first-gen RDX, the mindset at Acura has recently switched to more conventional products with vastly improved volume potential.

KHOMO Super Slim Smart Cover iPad mini case review

The other day Janet and I were talking about cases, and I mentioned that I loved the Amazon case for the Kindle Paperwhite and wished there was one just like it for the iPad mini. Janet went into research mode and sent me links to all kinds of cases trying to find one that I'd like. When she stumbled upon the KHOMO Super Slim Smart Cover iPad mini case, we both ordered one immediately. We're going to tag team a review to tell you what we think.
Note: Images can be clicked to view a larger size.

My comments are in Black and Janet's are in .

Julie: First of all, when they say this case is slim, they aren't kidding.

Guild Wars 2 Clocks Up 3 Million Plus In Sales

Guild Wars 2 has been quite the performer when it comes to games, and this time around, we have word that this particular game has managed to chalk up over 3 million in total sales, and they sure as heck show no signs of slowing down. In fact, this bit of announcement came about from publisher ArenaNet, and the three million unit mark is definitely impressive considering how Guild Wars 2 was released just since August last year. In fact, it took just two weeks after the game's release to rake in more than two million sales, now how about that.

eBay Find Of The Day: Chevrolet Corvette Stingray press kit for charity

Members of the motoring press who were invited to the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray reveal all left with a pretty sweet press kit. The individually numbered black box within a black box contained not only a chunky little flash drive, but a paperweight adorned with an actual Stingray badge. Before we even left the press reveal, at least one had popped up on eBay. There are several there now, including one being auctioned by Chevrolet for charity. Chevy's auction features number 1 of the 2,014 produced.
