LG 2011 smartphone roadmap leaked, many Androids and one WP7 inside

LG has many more smartphones coming this year, aside from the recently announced Optimus Net and Optimus Pro (and the previously seen Optimus 2X, 3D, and Black). As you might have already guessed, most of these devices will run Android, though not all. The following mammoth roadmap leak comes courtesy of PocketNow. The images you'll see in this post are renders, which the guys over there claim are based on actual device images which they can't publicize.

So let's dive in. First off, we have the LG Prada K2, seen above. This will be a flagship device of sorts, at least for the fashion-conscious.

Samsung SPH-M930 is an Android-powered side-sliding QWERTY smartphone for Boost Mobile

Boost Mobile is getting ready for its first Samsung slider to become available. The Samsung SPH-M930 looks like after all it isn't, as its model number implies, the successor to the SPH-M920 Transform for Sprint. Instead, this is one Android-powered smartphone headed to Boost Mobile. An official-looking image of the device was leaked today, and it features prominent Boost Mobile branding. The Samsung SPH-M930 should come with a 1 GHz processor, an HVGA (480×320) capacitive touchscreen, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.

INgSOC concept bicycle is drop dead gorgeous

This is one of the times when I wished the conceptual design would just jump into life like that – and we're talking about the INgSOC bicycle. The frame design does seem to be future forward if it were to roll off a factory line, courtesy of Edward Kim and Benny Cemoli. The electric bicycle will definitely look faster than it moves, sporting sharp lines and some dangerous-looking edges. The frame of the INgSOC bicycle might seem to be techno-organic in nature, what with a bony, alien-like finger pointing towards the direction ahead.

HTC EVO 3D accessories revealed

One of the great features of the HTC EVO 4G was the built-in kickstand which allowed for the best media viewing experience. Unfortunately, the successor to the EVO 4G, the EVO 3D, is a device optimized for media with its large glasses-free 3D screen, but it does not have a built-in kickstand. HTC is looking to fix the kickstand problem with a video dock that is will land at BestBuy August 21st. The dock will cost $50. An official Holster and Shield Combo for $25 will arrive August 21st as well.

Nokia N9 lands at FCC, bares all for the camera

You must have seen enough pictures of the N9Â's beautiful exterior but now thanks to the FCC you can get a peek inside that unibody shell as well. The Federal Trade Commission skillfully took apart the handset on one of their routine tests and took plenty of photographs of the internals. You will notice the pop-out SIM tray on the top of the device that thankfully does not require the assistance of a pointed tool to be taken out because of a lever mechanism. The non-user-replaceable 1450mAh Li-Ion battery uses a cable to connect to the phone, unlike the N8, which used a standard Nokia battery and was hence, to some extent, user-replaceable.

Samsung has begun selling their newest 10.1-inch netbook ‘NP-NC110-A03US' in the US via Amazon. Priced at $329, this mini laptop packs a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 LED-backlit display, a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N570 dual-core processor, an Intel GMA 3150 integrated graphics, a 1GB RAM, a 250GB hard drive, a 0.3MP webcam, an SD card slot, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, 2x 1.5 W speakers, a 6-cell battery and is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Starter OS.

Spherical robot helps detect radioactivity in pipes

One great thing about robots is this – they never tire out, and are impervious to radioactivity – making it possible for them to work in hazardous environments for extended periods of time without experiencing fatigue. This tiny spherical robot that you see on the right will feature a built-in camera that allows it to check out what is going through the labyrinth of underground pipes of a nuclear reactor. To get around, it won't remain passive, but rather, will propel itself using an internal network of valves and pumps.
