HTC: carrier release of HTC One Android 4.3 update "will slightly miss 9x30″

We knew was too good to be true when HTC President Jason Mackenzie promised that all US and Canadia versions of the HTC one would be updated to Android 4.3 before the end of September. While the unlocked and Developer Editions started receiving the update yesterday, it seems carrier branded phones will not recevie the update by the self-imposed deadline. The news was delivered via Jason Mackenzie's Twitter account earlier this afternoon. No additional details have been posted, just Jason promised he would “keep u updated…” as soon as he has more information to share.
