Here is an interesting bit of news – off-contract iPhones on the AT&T network will be unlocked starting from this Sunday onwards, so make sure you mark April 8 on your respective calendars if you fall under this unique category of iPhone users. This is certainly a pleasant surprise, almost on par with that of seeing a basket of chocolate eggs on Easter Sunday sitting in front of your doorstep, left by a good Samaritan. You will, however, need to request for the carrier unlock yourself, and if you do not do so, your iPhone will remain locked to AT&T.
