Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Nexus Prime) unveiling and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich launch delayed

Well, color us surprised. Reports have flooded the blogosphere over the past hour or so that Samsung's Unpacked event which was scheduled for this Tuesday, October 11, during CTIA, was pushed back. This, if you don't know, was a joint event which was going to be held by Samsung and Google and during which it was widely expected that the two companies would unveil the latest version of Android, 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, as well as the Samsung Galaxy Nexus (or Google Nexus Prime) smartphone.
